After apprenticing at Champagne Roederer and Delbeck in Reims France, Jozsef Torley, convinced he needed to find identical soil and climate conditions in Hungary looked to Etyek-Buda, just west of Budapest which shares nearly the same latitude as champagne and where you can also find the densely chalk ridden limestone soils.

Here he produces three spectacular blends from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling and the native Kiralyleanyka. The Gala is done in the Cuve Close method while the others in the Traditional method.
